Also outside this chalet has a lot to offer: From the balcony, the terrace or simply from the spacious turnaround, you can gaze at the dreamlike alpine panorama for hours. Take out an opera gazer or a telescope and search the rocky slopes for ibexes and the mountain meadows for marmots.

Summer

In Valais, the sun shines for about 300 days a year. Especially in the warm summer months you can enjoy the magnificent alpine world in an incomparable way. Here you will find endless hiking trails and also some routes specially designed for mountain bikers.
The actual hiking area around Veysonnaz extends in a southerly direction to the Valais High Alps. If you are on Veysonnaz? about 300 km long hiking area, you will enjoy pure nature. You will also be able to encounter many freely grazing cows. A large area of Veysonnaz' surroundings is protected thanks to intact flora, fauna and rough pastures.

Winter

The vast ski arena of the "Quattre-Vallées" stretches from Veysonnaz and the adjacent ?les-Collons-Thyon-2000? to Nendaz, the Mont-Fort (3,330m) and over to Verbier and La Tzoumaz. No less than 410 km of slopes for all levels (from beginner to professional) offer to feel the pressure of your boards for once. 95 lifts ensure that you are catapulted back up to the heights after a speedy run down into the valley.
As soon as snow falls in winter, Veysonnaz becomes a winter sports paradise. It is part of the ski area of the "Four Valleys" ("Quatre-Vallées") with about 400 km of perfectly groomed slopes. On the "Piste-de-l'Ours", above Veysonnaz, many Ski World Cup races are also held. A spectacle beyond compare for the spectators!
