Description of the holiday rental
Relaxation at the Binn "Heidehüs". A journey back to the origins. Pure nature. A place of power for body and soul. Depending on the season, the apartment rent (not including additional costs) can also be paid with WIR. The respective percentage can be found on the booking calendar. The "Heidehüs" was built in the late Middle Ages at the end of the 14th century. It is the only "Heidehüs" and probably the oldest still existing residential house in the Binn Valley. The name "Heidehüs" presumably comes from "Heide" and means old or unknown. From 1980 to 1983, the "Heidehüs" was lovingly renovated and comfortably expanded by Joachim Schmid. The location is unique and very quiet (only the church bell can be heard), with a view of the Breithorn, the Lengtal and the Binn Valley. From spring, after the snowmelt, until autumn, the "Heidehüs" can be easily reached by car via a paved private road. On foot, it is a ten-minute walk from the village centre. The "Heidehüs" is the topmost house in Wilern, about a hundred metres above the Binn church. In winter, the valley station of a 400-metre-long ski lift is located right next door. The local tourist tax according to the rates of the local tourism authority is charged separately and is not included in the price. The holiday apartment is on the 1st floor and is suitable for couples or families with 1 to 2 children. The living kitchen is cosy and practically furnished. In addition to the fondue set and the Nespresso coffee machine, all the cooking and dining utensils are like new and available for 6 people. A 120-litre boiler supplies hot water. The double bedroom is fitted with built-in wardrobes. In the cosily furnished living room, alongside a snug seating area that invites you to linger, there is a sofa that can be converted into two full-sized single beds. In addition, a small bedroom with one bed can be rented for CHF 15.–/day. The "Giltsteinofen" stove is heated with wood from the kitchen. All rooms have thermostatically controlled electric radiators.
