With around 300 inhabitants, Curaglia is the largest village in Val Medel. It is situated on a terrace and lies in an interesting mountain landscape of particular beauty. Here you will also find many hiking opportunities off the beaten track. To the right and left of the valley are a number of small hamlets and for alpine mountaineers there is also the opportunity to climb up to the Medel hut on Piz Mundaun.

Disentis with its family ski and hiking area is about 5 minutes away by car. Sedrun is around 15 minutes away by car. You can reach Lugano in approx. 1 hour via the Lukmanier Pass.
