Description of the holiday rental
This former raccard has been transformed into a contemporary mayen while respecting the existing heritage. It has been designed to provide a relaxing and restful stay for two in a unique setting offering a host of possibilities.
Originally, the raccard was made up of two separate areas.
The stable was located in the lower part, while the upper part included the raccard area.
The former stable is now a modern living space heated by a pellet stove. The upper part has been converted into a spacious bedroom with a view of the Dent Blanche at 4357 metres. The different areas allow us to offer you two completely different atmospheres. The former stable has a mineral feel, combining concrete and stone, while the raccard area is a cocoon lined with wood, inviting you to relax and unwind. The passage from one floor to the other is via a wooden staircase that crosses the void, a journey in itself!
In the bathroom, you'll find zenithal lighting that bathes the room in diffused light through a glass roof at the back of the hall. We look forward to welcoming you to this little corner of paradise dedicated to lovers.
Hot pots (extra charge): We provide 3 hot pots distributed between the 6 mayens. Use of the hot pots is not included in the price of the accommodation but is extra. The price depends on the length of your stay. They are not private and cannot be reserved. It is up to you to prepare your own firewood, which is available at the entrance to the site.
There is a private car park 450 m from the mayens on foot.
