Description of the holiday rental
The Chesa Arnica is located in La Punt, 14 km from St. Moritz. It consists of 5 furnished 2½-room flats. The location is quiet and very sunny, with beautiful views of the Engadine mountains. Many sports possibilities like: Hiking, cross-country skiing, skiing etc.
All flats have been renovated. These are: new kitchens, new bathrooms, new lighting, new floor coverings and partly new furniture as well as new flat screens. It's worth booking with us .
The flat consists of a cosily furnished living room with sofa bed, dining area, sitting area, fireplace, flat screen TV with radio function, fitted kitchen, 1 bedroom with double bed and fitted wardrobes, bathroom/WC, car parking space.
Grocery shops are 400 metres away, restaurants 200 metres and the bus stop and train station 300 metres.

Harmoniously embedded in the wild nature, a showpiece of the railway pioneer era awaits you. The Albula and Bernina lines of the Rhaetian Railway have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since July 2008. Landscape and railway merge: in wide radii, ingenious engineering structures, in serpentine lines through rugged valleys. Notable highlights include the "Landwasser Viaduct", the helical tunnels between Bergün and Preda and the circular viaduct near Brusio. Exemplary to this day.

Village description: La Punt Chamues-ch lies at 1700 metres above sea level, at the foot of the Albula Pass in the sunny high valley of the Upper Engadine and is easily accessible by train and car. The Engadine farmhouses and patrician houses dating from the 16th and 17th centuries give the village a very special charm, and the old patricians already knew why they built their houses and palaces here: The sun-drenched La Punt Chamues-ch is not only strategically located at the foot of the Albula, but is also idyllically situated on the Inn. They tower majestically over the village: richly decorated farmhouses and stately patrician homes from the 16th and 17th centuries. And, of course, the famous Chesa Pirani restaurant with its baroque panelled parlour and two Michelin stars. In winter, the closed pass road becomes a snow-covered wonder for adventure-seekers as a speedy toboggan run. Winter fun is also promised by the fantastic cross-country ski trails, snowshoe hikes and ski tours.
