Welcome to our charming 2.5-room holiday flat in Locarno-Muralto! Just a five-minute walk from the town centre, train station and harbour, this flat offers the perfect retreat for your holiday. The quiet flat has a spacious bedroom with a comfortable double bed. The cosy and modern living room with sofa bed offers plenty of space to relax. It is equipped with a TV and free WiFi. The kitchen, renovated in March 2024, is fully equipped and adjoins the light-flooded dining area. It has a kettle, coffee machine, dishwasher and toaster. The highlight of the flat is undoubtedly the fantastic view of Lake Maggiore. Whether you're enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning and watching the mountain atmosphere or savouring the sunset with a glass of wine on a summer evening - the view will enchant you in any case. The senior-friendly complex has a communal area with indoor pool, solarium, terrace and garden. A private garage space and lift are available.

The narrow streets of the old town all converge on the Piazza. On the edge of the old town is the Castello, a castle dating back to the 12th century, about a fifth of which is still in its original state. Magnificent palazzi house unique art collections. Above Locarno in Orselina lies the pilgrimage church of Madonna del Sasso, whose foundation is said to date back to an apparition of the Virgin Mary. It is Locarno's main attraction and offers fantastic views of the city, the lake and the mountains.
