Description of the holiday rental
New for rent since January 2024
The Chesa Cuolm is an Engadine house from 1672, picturesquely embedded in the old town centre of Pontresina below the church of St. Maria. The house was lovingly renovated in 2023 and is now a new building.
Enjoy the alpine chalet atmosphere of the living, dining and cooking area under the several hundred year old, open roof beams with wood-burning stove. Typical of the Chesa Cuolm are metre-thick walls, partly vaulted ceilings and unique pieces of historic Swiss stone pine furniture combined with modern design. The house is luxuriously equipped with sauna, 4 designer bathrooms, 2 large balconies, 1 terrace with small garden, ski/sports room, spacious entrance area, fully equipped, spacious metal kitchen, underfloor heating, 2 parking spaces and e-charging station in front of the house.
The walk to the bakery and a wide selection of restaurants in the village takes less than 5 minutes. The Pontresina Panorama Trail starts above the house and cross-country ski trails and ski lifts can be reached on foot in a few minutes or by bus or car in a short journey time, depending on your choice of mountain.

Cross-country skiers will find over 220 kilometres of groomed trails in the Upper Engadine and the side valleys. The winter hiking trails and cross-country ski trails on the frozen lakes of the Upper Engadine sparkle with light, sunshine and vastness in the midst of an inspiring mountain world. Those who want to enjoy the tranquillity and beauty of the snow-covered forests can hike along the 150 km of winter hiking trails in the side valleys of Val Roseg, Val Fex or Val Bever, while those who prefer an overview can enjoy breathtaking views on the panoramic hiking trails high above the lakes on Muottas Muragl.
