The flat Crusch/Muntanella is a spacious, tastefully furnished, bright flat with every comfort. 100 metres from the bus stop and the Laager bakery/café. Large living and dining room with balcony (table and chairs available). Kitchen with dining table, dishwasher, microwave and capsule coffee machine. One double bedroom, bathroom with bathtub (shower facility), double washbasin WC, bidet and window. Second double bedroom very spacious with balcony and en-suite bathroom (shower, double lavabo, WC and bidet). This bedroom has a separate entrance. Garage, lift and internet available and included in the price. As an important traffic junction, Samedan was already very important in the Middle Ages. Here the mule trains crossed from south to north, from east to west over the passes. The rights to this income were largely in the hands of the Plantas and the Salis, the powerful noble families closely associated with Samedan's history. They were also generous to the municipality of Samedan with donations of all kinds. Income from transit traffic, agriculture and mining fostered a certain wealth here, to which the municipality also contributed. Thus, in the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries, various proud patrician and stately Engadine houses were built. Village centre In the old village centre of Samedan, in Crappun, Crasta and Surtuor, we also come across many an old, well-preserved Engadine house from the 16th and 17th centuries with oriels and ornamental sgraffiti. Famous personalities once lived in these houses, such as the reformer and Bible translator Giachem Bifrun, publisher of the "Nouv Testamaint" in 1560, the first printed work of Ladin literature, or the Jenatschs, from whose clan came the famous freedom hero Georg Jenatsch. In general, Samedan was rich in capable men at that time who rendered important services to the country.
