Countless excursions can be undertaken from Sarnen: Pilatus, Rigi, Titlis (glacier), Ballenberg, Melchsee-Frutt, Interlaken, Lake Lucerne (including steamboats). Distance Lucerne - Sarnen 20 minutes by car.
