Description of the holiday rental
The spacious (135m2) Parrot Penthouse is spread across the two top floors of a stylish chalet building with elevator access.
The apartment sleeps 6 in three bedrooms. Two bedrooms are doubles with en-suite bathrooms (1 with shower/WC and 1 with bath-tub/shower/WC) while the third bedroom has a bunk bed perfect for kids, with a bathroom (shower/WC) opposite. The double beds can be configured as doubles or Austrian twins (separate mattresses in the same bed frame).
The Penthouse has a light and modern airy feel to, with a high sloping wooden beamed roof, big floor to ceiling windows and a wide balcony. These give you a wonderful panorama over the Dom and Täschhorn mountain peaks and the charming village of Zermatt.
Open plan, superbly equipped modern designer kitchen, with dining area and generous seating. The living area has a wood burning fireplace.
There is a washing machine in the apartment. The chalet building has also a ski-room and a laundry room.
The penthouse-apartment is set on a hillside with glorious views over the Zermatt village, and also has a partial Matterhorn view. The closest mountain lift station is the Matterhorn Express, an easy 600m walk, and there is also a bus stop just by the main entrance. The nearest shops are 350m away.
Skis and boots can be left in the ski room of the building.
