Completely renovated detached house in a quiet panoramic position with loggia and garden.

Location and general information:
The newly renovated detached house Chesa La Rösa is situated in a beautiful panoramic location on a slope above the old village centre of Zuoz. The house is very quiet and sunny on a residential street. Two single garages below the property belong to the house. There is no possibility to park outside. There is no lift in the house. Pets are not allowed in Chesa La Rösa. Smoking is not allowed in the house. Chesa La Rösa is furnished for eight people. If up to a maximum of 4 people are staying, only the upper two floors of the house can be rented at a lower price.

Room layout:
Chesa La Rösa extends over a total of three floors. The entrance to the house is very spacious and offers space for wardrobe and luggage. A small staircase leads to the ground floor, where a children's room with four bunk beds, a separate TV room, a bathroom with shower, washbasin and separate toilet as well as the laundry room are located. Upstairs you reach the first floor with kitchen, living and dining room and exit to the garden and the loggia. The kitchen is modern and is located in a separate room with windows. The large panoramic window in the living room opens the view over Zuoz and to the opposite mountain range. The large fireplace in the living room provides a cosy atmosphere. There is also a second TV set in the living room. A further staircase leads to the attic floor, where there is a double bedroom with balcony, a children's room with two single beds and a bathroom with bathtub, washbasin and toilet. From the living room there is access to an extraordinarily large sun terrace with a covered loggia, which invites you to linger both in summer and winter. Animals can be regularly observed in the garden.

Amenities and facilities:
The property is furnished to a very high standard. In the living room there is comfortable upholstered furniture and a large dining table. The loggia is also equipped with a spacious dining table. In the kitchen there is a glass-ceramic hob with steam extraction, an oven, a microwave, a refrigerator with freezer compartment and a dishwasher. A coffee machine is also available. The kitchen is very well equipped and contains everything you need for cooking or baking. Both television sets are operated via Swisscom-TV. W-Lan is available free of charge.

Excursion possibilities: What mountains. What lakes. What light! Whether on the 580km (360 miles) of hiking paths strewn over all the mountains or by mountain bike along 400km (250 miles) of fabulous trails: the Upper Engadin offers a superb network of paths and trails amidst an unspoilt Alpine landscape and the inspiring lake plateau. Four flow trails on the Corviglia guarantee a perfect flow. Equally popular among sports enthusiasts are the Upper Engadin lakes; kiting, sailing, windsurfing, stand up paddling – the possibilities are virtually endless. The expanse of the inspiring high-lying valley can be experienced in a particularly striking way on the two 18-hole golf courses in Samedan and Zuoz. And besides the wide range of sporting options, visitors can take advantage of the first-class cultural activities on offer, such as a visit to a museum or to one of the numerous art galleries in the various villages.  In winter, the ski areas of Corviglia, Corvatsch, Diavolezza and family friendly Zuoz invite ski and snowboard enthusiasts to revel in 350 kilometres (218 miles) of the finest powder snow. Cross-country skiers will find over 220km (137 miles) of perfectly groomed trails in the Upper Engadin and the side valleys. The winter hiking paths and cross-country ski trails on the frozen Upper Engadin lakes are characterised by their light, sunshine and space amidst inspiring Alpine scenery. Those who would like to enjoy the tranquillity and beauty of the snow-covered forests can explore the side valleys of Val Roseg, Val Fex or Val Bever on 150 kilometres (90 miles) of winter hiking paths. Visitors who prefer to have everything in view, meanwhile, will delight in the breathtaking vistas on the panorama hiking trails high above the lakes on Muottas Muragl.  Families can bask in the Engadin sun during a ride in a horse-drawn carriage into the Val Roseg or Val Fex, or race down the mountainside into the valley on the winding, 4.2km (2.6 mile) long toboggan run on Muottas Muragl. Welcome to the Engadin.

Location description: Zuoz – customs and traditions in the idyllic mountain village Zuoz is regarded as the most beautiful village in all of the Upper Engadin. Numerous patrician houses, such as the Chesa Planta, proudly display their typical oriel windows and sgraffiti façade decorations, while mysterious alleyways invite visitors to discover Zuoz’s eventful past. Meanwhile, a modern splash of colour is provided by a beautifully laid-out 18-hole golf course, an inline skating route and a varied network of hiking and mountain biking trails. A particular highlight in Zuoz is a visit to Badilatti, the highest-lying coffee-roasting plant in Europe. In winter, the cross-country ski trails of the Engadin Ski Marathon run directly past the village, while the family-friendly ski area offers skiing fun for all ability levels.
