Antikes, renoviertes Haus
Description of the holiday rental
The little, antique house was completely renovated in 1997. Annetta Giacometti-Stampa, the wife of painter Giovanni Giacometti and mother of sculptor Alberto Giacometti grew up in this and the neighbouring house. On the groundfloor you will find a livingroom, a small kitchen and a bathroom and WC/shower. Very steep stonestairs lead to the first floor with a larger and a smaller doublebedroom. In summer and fall there is the possibility to also rent the not heatable attic room with further beds. The garden is shared with eventual occupants of the neighbouring house 1688. The Postbusstop is nearby; the bus runs every hour during daytime and takes about 60 minutes to the Engadine and 40 minutes to Chiavenna. Shopping for bread and other foods is in neighbouring village Vicosoprano, where there also is the butcher Chiesa.
