Location and general information:
The flat in the Chesa Champagna is situated in a beautiful south-facing location at the entrance to the village of La Punt Chamues-ch, within walking distance of the village centre and the train station. Together with the large, ground-level underground car park, the two houses form a harmonious ensemble with a private, very sunny inner courtyard, which is available to all residents of the two houses. A barbecue as well as wooden benches and tables are available for communal use. There are two communal laundry rooms in the building. The flat comes with a reserved garage parking space, and there are also visitor parking spaces in the car park and others at the garage entrance. The building has a lift. There are three ski rooms in the Champagna building where winter sports equipment can be stored. Bicycle parking spaces are available in the garage. Pets are welcome in the Chesa Champagna. Smoking is not permitted in the flat.

Room layout:
The spacious studio in the Chesa Champagna covers an area of around 50 square metres. There are two single beds in the large living room, which are visually separated from the living area, which is furnished with a cosy sitting area and a dining table. The view from the living room and balcony is unobstructed and exceptionally beautiful. The kitchen is located in a separate room. The bathroom has a shower, washbasin and toilet.

Equipment:
The flat is equipped with modern comforts. The living room has light-coloured parquet flooring. The kitchen is equipped with a ceramic hob with steam extractor, an oven, a fridge with freezer compartment, a dishwasher and a Nespresso coffee machine. The flat is equipped with Swisscom TV and free Wi-Fi.

Village description: Situated at 1700 metres above sea level at the foot of the Albula Pass, the village is characterised by the stately patrician houses of the Albertini families. The most striking is the Chesa Merleda. The Engadine farmers' and patricians' houses dating from the 16th and 17th centuries give the twin village of La Punt Chamues-ch a very special charm. Particularly worth seeing are the early Gothic church of St. Andrea in Chamues-ch with its paintings and frescoes and the baroque church in La Punt, built in 1680. As a centrally located village, La Punt Chamues-ch is the starting point for challenging mountain tours and easy hikes. Families with children are welcome guests. In winter, the Müsella ski lift offers ideal conditions for children and beginners

Summer: The surrounding area offers a variety of tours on mountain bikes, racing bikes, inline skates and on foot, for example on the Engadin High Trail. Meanwhile, cosy playgrounds and fire pits by the water await families. Incidentally, Val Chamuera is considered the most unspoilt valley in the entire Engadin: At the back of Alp Serlas, there is no kiosk waiting for hikers, but instead a feeling of happiness in unspoilt nature.

In winter, the closed pass road becomes a snow-covered wonder of curves for adventure-seekers as a speedy toboggan run. Winter fun is also promised by the fantastic cross-country ski trails, snowshoe hikes and ski tours.

Excursion options: These mountains. These lakes. This light! On 580 kilometres of hiking trails across all mountains or by mountain bike on 400 kilometres of enjoyable trails: the Upper Engadine offers a first-class network of hiking trails and mountain bike trails in the midst of the pristine mountain world and the inspiring Upper Engadine lake district. The four flow trails on the Corviglia provide the right flow. The lakes of the Upper Engadin are also popular with sports enthusiasts. Kitesurfing, sailing, windsurfing, stand-up paddling: the possibilities are almost endless. The expanse of the inspiring high valley can be experienced in a particularly impressive way on the two 18-hole golf courses in Samedan and Zuoz. And in addition to the wide range of sporting activities on offer, there are also first-class cultural attractions such as a visit to the museum or the numerous art galleries in the various villages.
In winter, 350 kilometres of the finest pistes in the Corviglia, Corvatsch and Diavolezza ski areas and the family-friendly Zuoz invite you to enjoy true skiing and snowboarding fun. Cross-country skiers will find over 220 kilometres of groomed trails in the Upper Engadine and the side valleys. The winter hiking trails and cross-country ski trails on the frozen lakes of the Upper Engadine sparkle with light, sunshine and vastness in the midst of an inspiring mountain world. Those who want to enjoy the tranquillity and beauty of the snow-covered forests can hike along the 150 km of winter hiking trails in the side valleys of Val Roseg, Val Fex or Val Bever, while those who prefer an overview can enjoy breathtaking views on the panoramic hiking trails high above the lakes on Muottas Muragl.
Families can enjoy the Engadin sunshine on a carriage ride into Val Roseg or Val Fex, or toboggan down into the valley on the 4.2 km long, winding Muottas Muragl toboggan run.
