The apartment in Minusio is only a kilometer from the beach. The lakeshore, however, is only 500 meters from the house. There are also restaurants, shops, train station and a supermarket within a kilometer. Guests are within a minute’s walk from Elisarion Cultural Center and Museum that regularly hosts a number of concerts, conferences, exhibitions, seminars and shows. Locarno’s historical funicular that takes visitors to Madonna del Sasso, the pilgrimage church, is only 3 minutes’ drive while the church itself is only 6 minutes away. The famed lake town of Locarno with its historic Piazza Grande, primarily known for the annual film festival it hosts, is only 6 minutes’ drive. There is also a golf course and a tennis club at about 15 kilometers. The nearest airport is about 120 kilometers from the apartment.
