Description of the holiday rental

Welcome We are delighted that you are interested in our holiday region and that you have decided to spend your holiday with us. Enjoy a few stress-free holiday days in our family-friendly region in beautiful natural surroundings. Whether you prefer peace and quiet, relaxing in nature or want to conquer the region through sport. At the end of your holiday, you should return home satisfied and well rested and have fond memories of our region. The municipality of Flühli-Sörenberg is the tourist centre of the UNESCO Entlebuch Biosphere. The total area of the biosphere is 394 square kilometres and hardly any other region has so many natural treasures in such a small area as the "Wild West of Lucerne".

Chalet Bella Vista is located on the sunny side of Sörenberg, approx. 15 minutes' walk from the village centre. The bus stop "Sörenberg Platz" can be reached in 2 minutes on foot. The flat is cosy and homely furnished. Non-smoking flat. The flat is particularly suitable for families with 1-3 children. The upper flat is not rented out to third parties. It is used by the owner's family as a holiday home.

In winter, the flat offers an ideal starting point for all winter activities: The Sörenberg Platz chairlift, the Dorf cross-country ski trail and the Sörenberg ski school's ski kindergarten are all within easy reach. Free children's lift on the Rossweid. 2 pairs of snowshoes are available free of charge. The large garden invites you to build snowmen or go sledging. The garage serves as a ski room.

In summer, the large garden with a fire bowl highlights (free wood), a seating area with garden furniture, garden bench and parasols, as well as ideal access to the hiking area of the UNESCO Biosphere Entlebuch. The large garden is accessible from the flat.

The holiday flat is classified by Switzerland Tourism as a ***-star holiday flat. Thanks to the Sörenberg Card, guests of our holiday flat can use all the mountain railways in Sörenberg free of charge from May to October!

Pets: Unfortunately the holiday flat is not suitable for pets.

Parking: 2 outdoor parking spaces are available free of charge.

E-charging station: (evpass Charging Station) in the immediate vicinity.

Ski room: The garage serves as a ski room. There is a ski boot warmer. There is plenty of space for your skis, sledges, pushchairs, bicycles etc. You can also use an additional freezer there if the freezer compartment in the fridge is too small.

Washing machine / cellar: Access to the cellar is directly from your flat. Here you can do your washing (7kg), store your suitcases or keep your drinks cool.
In the intermediate room you will find the cleaning utensils with hoover, broom etc.

Seating area / garden: The large covered seating area has a table with 4 garden chairs and 2 folding chairs. There is also a garden bench at your disposal. Two parasols protect you from the sun. Behind the house you can take wood (free of charge) to light a fire in the fire bowl and barbecue. In the garden house there are 2 deckchairs and 2 comfortable garden chairs, which you are welcome to use in the large garden (approx. 150m2).
The metal garden shed contains the garden chairs in winter and the outdoor games in summer.

Living room: The living room has a comfortable fold-out sofa, a reading chair and a buffet with lots of games. The living room can be darkened. A small library is available. SAT-TV. There are 2 raclette sets and 2 fondue sets in the cupboard. Here you will also find a chocolate fondue and a hotplate. The central oven is located in the living room. Direct access to the seating area and garden.

Dining room / hallway: The separate dining room also serves as a hallway. The corner bench seats at least 6 people. Practical, as the dining room is separated from the living room by a door.

Bedroom: The bedroom is accessible from the living room. A double bed (160x200) and a single bed (90x200) await you there. The bedroom can be darkened. An additional baby cot can be placed at the foot of the parents' bed.

Shower: Shower towels available, hairdryer available, spacious glass shower with window, WC, 1 washbasin, underfloor heating, renovated December 2022.

Kitchen: The kitchen is fully equipped and has a ceramic hob with four hotplates, an oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment. You will also find a kettle, a Dolce Gusto capsule machine, blender, kitchen scales, toaster, filter coffee machine, salad spinner, pressure cooker, crockery for at least 10 people, a sufficient number of pots and pans, etc. In addition, hand washing-up liquid, tabs for the dishwasher, household paper, spices, oil, vinegar, fuel pastes, foil and much more are available free of charge.

Entertainment: WLAN in the whole flat free of charge. A flatscreen TV with satellite connection with countless national and international channels. DAB+ radio at the dining table.

Children's equipment: Folding changing table with changing cushion, baby cot, fall-out protection, high chair, table seat, toilet attachment, games, Duplo, children's crockery, children's cutlery, children's emergency bed 65x180cm.

Conditions and extras: final cleaning 125CHF per stay, energy costs 7CHF per day, bed linen and bath towels 18CHF per person and stay. There are 2 bath towels per person per stay. For additional used towels please deposit 5CHF per towel. A wash cycle costs 5CHF, detergent caps are available. Baby cot free of charge. Please bring your own bedding for the baby. WLAN free of charge. Wood free of charge. Please pay the visitor's tax at the Sörenberg tourist office. (not included)

Floor: Ground floor. Access via stairs. Type of accommodation: holiday flat, private owner.

Location: Distance to the next chairlift: 300m (only in operation in winter). Distance to the ski kindergarten: 500m. Distance to the cross-country ski run: 300m. Distance to the cable car: 1000m by ski bus or public transport or on skis via the ski area. Distance to the village: 1000m (15min.) Distance to the ski school meeting point: 1000m, accessible by ski bus or public transport or on skis via the ski area. In winter you can travel free of charge throughout Sörenberg on the ski bus.

Location description: Sörenberg lies in the heart of Switzerland in the UNESCO Entlebuch Biosphere. The train runs every half hour from Lucerne or Bern to Schüpfheim - with a connection to the post bus to Sörenberg. You can reach us by car via Wolhusen or Trubschachen.
