Description of the holiday rental

Modern studio in the centre of the village of St. Moritz.

For 2 persons, no pets.

Location and general information:
The house Au Réduit is located in the centre of the village of St. Moritz diagonally opposite the world-famous Hotel Palace and right next to the equally famous Confiserie Hanselmann. The property was built in 1972 and is constantly maintained and modernised. Originally planned and commissioned as an apartment building with units rented exclusively as holiday flats, the use of the property has gradually changed. Numerous flats are still rented out on a weekly basis, but many flats are now permanently occupied. The hotel-like character of Au Réduit has nevertheless been retained. Although the entrance to Au Réduit is located in the pedestrian zone, the garage, which faces Via Maistra, can be reached by car without any restrictions.
Flat 202 is located on the 2nd floor (from the building entrance) and faces east. From the balcony, the view sweeps towards Muottas Muragl. The flat was completely renovated and refurnished in 2015.
The building has a communal laundry room (coin-operated) and an in-house waste collection point.
A small parking space in the building's own underground car park can be rented in addition to the flat. For larger vehicles, we recommend the Serletta public car park, the exit of which is right next to the Hotel Palace.

Room layout:
Studio 202 consists of an open-plan living/sleeping/dining room with access to the balcony and an open-plan kitchen. The bathroom in the entrance area is separated from the living room.

Furnishings:
The flat has been furnished in a purist and practical style. In the living room there is a foldaway bed for two people, a wardrobe, a small dining table, a comfortable sofa and a TV. Free Wi-Fi is also available to our guests. The kitchen is equipped with a hob with extractor fan and oven, a fridge with freezer compartment, a dishwasher and a coffee machine. The bathroom consists of a shower, a toilet and a washbasin with vanity unit.

Excursion possibilities: These mountains. These lakes. This light! On 580 kilometres of hiking trails across all mountains or by mountain bike on 400 kilometres of enjoyable trails: the Upper Engadine offers a first-class network of hiking trails and mountain bike trails in the midst of the pristine mountain world and the inspiring Upper Engadine lake district. The three flow trails on the Corviglia provide the right flow. The lakes of the Upper Engadin are also popular with sports enthusiasts. Kitesurfing, sailing, windsurfing, stand-up paddling: the possibilities are almost endless. The two 18-hole golf courses in Samedan and Zuoz are a particularly impressive way to experience the expanse of the inspiring high valley. And in addition to the wide range of sporting activities on offer, there are also first-class cultural attractions such as a visit to the museum or the numerous art galleries in the various villages.
In winter, 350 kilometres of the finest pistes in the Corviglia, Corvatsch and Diavolezza ski areas and the family-friendly Zuoz invite you to enjoy true skiing and snowboarding fun. Cross-country skiers will find over 220 kilometres of groomed trails in the Upper Engadine and the side valleys. The winter hiking trails and cross-country ski trails on the frozen lakes of the Upper Engadine sparkle with light, sunshine and vastness in the midst of an inspiring mountain world. Those who want to enjoy the tranquillity and beauty of the snow-covered forests can hike along the 150 km of winter hiking trails in the side valleys of Val Roseg, Val Fex or Val Bever, while those who prefer an overview can enjoy breathtaking views on the panoramic hiking trails high above the lakes on Muottas Muragl.
Families can enjoy the Engadin sunshine on a carriage ride into Val Roseg or Val Fex, or toboggan down into the valley on the 4.2 km long, winding Muottas Muragl toboggan run.
Welcome to Engadin St. Moritz.
