Haus Wiesengrund

Our apartment (51m2) is located on the 1st floor of an apartment building. 

The apartment has a modern and fully equipped kitchen with ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee machine. 

Raclette oven and fondue set for our Swiss cheese specialties can be borrowed from the landlady on request.

Towels, cloths, first garbage bag, washing-up liquid, dishwashing liquid and other small items are available.

The apartment also has a bathroom (shower/WC, washing machine, soap, toilet paper), a double room and a cozy living room (satellite TV, Wifi), where the sofa can also be converted into a comfortable bed for 2 people. 

The south-facing balcony has a table and chairs as well as deckchairs for the many hours of sunshine and to enjoy the wonderful view of the mountains.

The landlady lives directly in the apartment next door, on the same floor. She is happy to answer any questions, provide information about the region, excursions, cable cars, hiking trails etc. or anything else you may need, and is happy to help if possible. She speaks German, English, French and Italian.

The house "Wiesengrund" is quietly located in the middle of the village of Täsch, well accessibly with the car.

Our flat (50m2) is on the 1st floor of an apartment building. It has a spacious balcony and a very beautiful view of the surrounding mountains.

Two food stores (Coop and Migros) and an "avec"-shop (convenience concept), open until 8 p.m., are located at the train station. 
It is only a 5-minute walk from our house to the train station. The shuttle trains to Zermatt leave every 20 minutes during the day. In only 10 minutes the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn takes you directly to the centre of Zermatt. The buses to the Zermatt mountain railways, which are free of charge for railway users, leave directly from the station. The Gornergratbahn takes you directly from the station to the skiing and/or hiking paradise.

There is also much to discover and experience in Täsch....:

- The 10 km long cross-country ski trail between Täsch and Randa is very popular with skaters and classic specialists. There are many different terrains to discover in the well-prepared area of the Loipe Matterhorn.

- 9+ hole golf course with 18 hole course: The Golf Club Matterhorn near Täsch-Randa is nestled in the upper Mattertal, surrounded by the highest mountains in Switzerland.

- The Schalisee (lake) lies on the flat valley floor near Täsch, surrounded by larches and open grassy areas. The ideal place to stay for families, for bathing, relaxing, picnicking and water skiing. Several idyllic fireplaces invite you to linger.

- The Täschalp: Some feel the place as a narrow mini mountain valley, others feel security and alpine romance. The mountains around it are high, the peaks barely visible. Further back in the valley: mountain landscape with pioneer vegetation untouched by man. Photo subject: Alpine farm with cows and cheese dairy, rich alpine flora, crystal-clear mountain stream called Mellichbach and the chapel.
