Village description: The mountain village of Vals has around 1,000 inhabitants and almost as many sheep - or so they say. The village became famous thanks to the thermal baths realised by the renowned architect Peter Zumthor and, of course, the Vals water. The jewel of the valley, the small hamlet of Leis, lies on a terrace above the village.
