Description of the holiday rental
Modern, quiet and bright 4 1/2 room flat for 2 - 6 persons on the 2nd floor accessible by stairs or lift. The flat is 136 m2 and all rooms are 2.8 m high! Selected designer furniture (sofa, chairs, tables, lamps etc.) and the combination of exposed concrete and Swiss stone pine wood offer a cosy ambience for relaxing holidays.
It also offers free Wi-Fi, has cable TV and a stereo system for music. There is an open wardrobe in the entrance area. To the right is the guest toilet and to the left the separate kitchen. It is equipped with a refrigerator including a freezer compartment, steamer, oven, Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher and generally offers plenty of space for cooking and for dishes. This is followed by the 48 m2 living and dining area with fireplace. From the living area and the balcony you can enjoy the magnificent view of the old village centre, the church tower and the mountain panorama. An intermediate corridor with numerous built-in cupboards leads to the 3 bedrooms and the wet rooms. The walls and floors of the bedrooms are also made of Swiss stone pine. One bathroom has a bath, the other a shower. Both have large mirror cabinets with swivel mirrors and plenty of storage space. Additionally: A garage and an outside parking space, a separate cellar compartment, a laundry room and a common ski room with boot dryer. 100 m to ski lift and ski school. In winter the free local bus stops directly in front of the house.
Non-smoking apartment, pets are not allowed. Bike-friendly and family-friendly, and not only because there are numerous board games available in the flat for big and small.

What mountains. What lakes. What light! Whether on the 580km (360 miles) of hiking paths strewn over all the mountains or by mountain bike along 400km (250 miles) of fabulous trails: the Upper Engadin offers a superb network of paths and trails amidst an unspoilt Alpine landscape and the inspiring lake plateau. Four flow trails on the Corviglia guarantee a perfect flow. Equally popular among sports enthusiasts are the Upper Engadin lakes; kiting, sailing, windsurfing, stand up paddling – the possibilities are virtually endless. The expanse of the inspiring high-lying valley can be experienced in a particularly striking way on the two 18-hole golf courses in Samedan and Zuoz. And besides the wide range of sporting options, visitors can take advantage of the first-class cultural activities on offer, such as a visit to a museum or to one of the numerous art galleries in the various villages.
In winter, the ski areas of Corviglia, Corvatsch, Diavolezza and family friendly Zuoz invite ski and snowboard enthusiasts to revel in 350 kilometres (218 miles) of the finest powder snow. Cross-country skiers will find over 220km (137 miles) of perfectly groomed trails in the Upper Engadin and the side valleys. The winter hiking paths and cross-country ski trails on the frozen Upper Engadin lakes are characterised by their light, sunshine and space amidst inspiring Alpine scenery. Those who would like to enjoy the tranquillity and beauty of the snow-covered forests can explore the side valleys of Val Roseg, Val Fex or Val Bever on 150 kilometres (90 miles) of winter hiking paths. Visitors who prefer to have everything in view, meanwhile, will delight in the breathtaking vistas on the panorama hiking trails high above the lakes on Muottas Muragl.
Families can bask in the Engadin sun during a ride in a horse-drawn carriage into the Val Roseg or Val Fex, or race down the mountainside into the valley on the winding, 4.2km (2.6 mile) long toboggan run on Muottas Muragl.

Other living room features (Living room1): The living room is divided into a sitting and a dining area. The dining area consists of an oval wooden table with six comfortable Tonet chairs with armrests. The table can seat up to 8 people. A hatch leads from the dining area into the separate kitchen.
In the cosy living area there is a fireplace and a sideboard with TV. Selected designer furniture offers seating for 6 - 8 people. A sliding door leads to the balcony, which offers a wonderful view of the mountains and the old village centre. When the weather is fine, two chairs are available for the morning coffee on the balcony.

Location description: Zuoz – customs and traditions in the idyllic mountain village
Zuoz is regarded as the most beautiful village in all of the Upper Engadin. Numerous patrician houses, such as the Chesa Planta, proudly display their typical oriel windows and sgraffiti façade decorations, while mysterious alleyways invite visitors to discover Zuoz’s eventful past. Meanwhile, a modern splash of colour is provided by a beautifully laid-out 18-hole golf course, an inline skating route and a varied network of hiking and mountain biking trails. A particular highlight in Zuoz is a visit to Badilatti, the highest-lying coffee-roasting plant in Europe. In winter, the cross-country ski trails of the Engadin Ski Marathon run directly past the village, while the family-friendly ski area offers skiing fun for all ability levels.
