Description of the holiday rental

The Casa Grande is a historic house, a listed building. Although it is technically equipped to modern standards, we would like to point out that certain functional details such as window and door openers, stair handrails and step heights do not comply with current standards and could be a potential source of danger. Please pay particular attention with small children to the two bridges from the kitchen to the garden and at the north entrance.

Season: all year round

Short holidays: Easter, Whitsun and Ascension (min. 3 nights)

Altitude: 715 metres above sea level

Pets: not allowed.

Public transport: By train to Biasca, from there by post bus to Aquarossa, change to bus in the direction of Leontica. Bus stop 100 metres from the house.

By car: From Zurich/Zug/Lucerne or eastern Switzerland, drive towards Gotthard, take the cantonal road at Brunnen and drive over the Oberalp Pass to Disentis and then over the Lukmanier Pass into Val Bleno. Or alternatively via Chur, Flims to Disentis and then over the Lucmanier. Both routes are very scenic and not very busy.

Car park: private behind the house.

Outdoor area: Beautiful garden with pergola and natural meadow, small balcony in front of the living room.

WLAN: available.

Heating: Air heat pump heating

Stove / fireplace: Two fireplaces

Kitchen: Stove, oven, dishwasher, raclette set and washing machine available. No fondue set.

Extras: The floors are made of wood and stone, which is why we recommend good slippers. Despite the insulation, it can get colder in winter, which is why we recommend warm clothing. Please pay particular attention with small children to the two bridges from the kitchen to the garden and at the north entrance, which can be a potential source of danger.
