Description of the holiday rental

Beautiful authentic 19th century mountain house, carefully restored with new kitchen and bathroom, amidst a marvellous mountain landscape with stunning views over the sunny "valley of light", only a 5 minutes ride from the next ski resort.

Between 2012 and 2020 various parts of the house have been carefully renovated, to preserve the original character of the traditional building. Both bathroom and kitchen have been fully refurbished. The authentic oven from 1868 has been gently renovated as well and serves for heating the dining room. Hot water and heating in the rest of the house are generated by a recently installed environment-friendly and modern wood heating system.

The house is fully equipped and offers everything you need for a short stay or a long vacation. Basic products like oil, vinegar, coffee, tea, spices, soap, garbage bags, etc. are usually available and can be used by guests. We are grateful if empty items are replaced (there is a small shop about a 100m distance, next to the church). Children: There are beds, chairs, dishes, cutlery, etc. for up to three or four small children.
