Description of the holiday rental

Ground floor apartment in traditonal style Swiss Chalet, fully equipped to local holiday home standard,
This is a private residence owned by a local family, we ask guests to be mindful of other residents.
The apartment sleeps 1-3 persons comfortably.
Indoor space approximately 67 sq. metres. We have a smaller option for 2 Persons without outdoor space. 
Compact bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, 1 double bedroom with wardrobe/storage, 1 single bedroom with bunkbed (upper bunk has limited headspace), a little storage and hanging space. Kitchen-dining room with Dishwasher, Oven, Hob, fridge/freezer, toaster and electric kettle. Living room with TV and WiFi.
We don't have: a microwave, electric coffee machine, washing machine/tumble dryer facilities. 
We are approx. 10mins walking distance from the village centre, bus station, sport centre, shops, tourist info, Coop supermarket, and train station. Grindelwald is a mountain village, guests should expect a steep hill when getting around on foot, particularly on Kreuzweg, requiring some effort!
Parking at the Chalet - year-round access by car (depending on snow conditions in winter, 4X4 with chains is obligatory, please enquire first!).
Despite its proximity to the village, the Chalet is set in its own grounds in a quiet location, with very little traffic. An ideal place for guests desiring a simple, peaceful getaway or a base for their sporting pursuits. Panoramic views around the valley to the Eiger, Wetterhorn, Fiescherhorner and more. Outdoor space; Guests are welcome to share a small area of our front terrace right outside the apartment's living room. All other areas are private.
Visitor Tax (CHF 4.70 pp/pn) is not included in our nightly price rate. A category A 'Guest Card' for reductions on local amenities is given to all guests - provides Free entry to Sport Centre, free use of local buses and further reduced fares on selected local amenities. First/Bussalp/Faulhorn summer/winter hiking area accessible from the doorstep! Close proximity (200m) to Bodmi beginners ski area in winter, with access to Firstbahn Gondola.
No smoking, no pets.
Quiet times 21:00 - 06:00
Guests should remove their outdoor shoes when indoors.
