Living Area – Garden terrace
The classy suite-apartment (60 m2) has a comfortably and tastefully furnished living room flooded with light through the panoramic floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors which lead directly to a fully private romantic and well-manicured palm garden (80 m2) with breathtaking view over the Lugano lake and the mountains, paved with Ticino granite stones and equipped with a wooden garden furniture made of precious wood. The large pine trees in front of the terrace (lighted in the night) round up the incredible views to the sunsets over the mountains. The garden has a modern light-design which turns also the night view into a spectacle. 

Bedroom, Kitchen and Bathroom area
The bedroom (with a comfortable high standard double bed 180 x 200cm) is separated from the living room by a partial wall which allows for privacy. Waking up in the morning, you will enjoy directly from the bed the most stunning views over the lake and the most romantic garden in Castagnola.
The dining area contains a stylish kitchen (equipped with the most modern technology: dishwasher, steamer, grill and microwave combined) inviting you to prepare a gourmet meal. The spacious bathroom is made of exquisite materials, such as off-white marble on floor and walls, with separate large shower and toilet area and integrated walk-in closet.
Private access to the suite-apartment
Our guests have their own separate entrance and a parking space directly in front of the two- storey building, whereby one floor will be used as a vacation home by the owners of the house, and the other floor is occupied by the suite apartment with its own garden.

Equipment
The suite has a large flat screen cable TV, blue-ray video system, high speed Wi-Fi internet, and access to a fully equipped laundry room (washer and dryer).

Surroundings
This unique newly and completely renovated luxury apartment is located in the exclusive district of Lugano-Castagnola, nearby (approx. 1 km) the famous Villa Favorita (former home of the world renowned Thyssen-Bornemisza collection). It is situated at the foot of "Monte Bré" (known as "the sunniest mountain in Switzerland"), 50m from the lake, with a stupendous panoramic view over the lake and the majestic San Salvatore mountain; also, it is at the beginning of the well-known idyllic path along the lake shore which leads to the picturesque village of “Gandria” (3km; 30min walking distance), passing a charming beach and swimming area of "San Domenico" (10 min walk) and a few romantic restaurant located directly on the lakeside which are ideally suited for a nice dinner for two. The centre of Lugano is 3km away, bus at 300m walking distance (every 10min). The pier for the shipline service is 100m away, ideal for cruises on Lake Lugano to such picturesque villages as Morcote, Melide, Caprino, Bissone, Porlezza/Italy, etc. The Casino of Campione/Italy can also be reached by boat. The well-known Lake Como is only a 30min-drive away, with its quaint villages, such as Bellaggio, Menaggio, Como, etc.
