Description of the holiday rental

The 2-room apartment is on two floors, connected by a staircase.

Bedroom:
On the ground floor is the bedroom with a rustic double bed and next to it the bathroom.  

Living room:
On the upper floor is the open living area with kitchen and dining area, with a view down the valley and onto the surrounding mountains. Direct access to the balcony with a morning seating area and an evening sun terrace. Flat screen TV and WiFi (free). 

Kitchen:
The kitchen is fully equipped and features a ceramic hob with oven, a large fridge with freezer compartment, a dishwasher, a raclette oven and a fondue caquelon. Kitchen linen is available and included in the price.

Bathroom:
The bathroom features a large shower, a toilet and a shelf with a washbasin. A washing machine with dryer is available in the hallway in front of the bathroom. Towels are available and included in the price.

Other:
Prices for longer stays upon request.

The former small livestock barn, which is attached to a more than 300-year-old Walser house, was converted into a two-room apartment in 2018. The exterior walls were changed as little as possible and inside a combination of old construction, practical insulation and new furniture was sought. The result is a cozy apartment with its own entrance, suitable for two people. High-quality materials and plenty of wood make the holiday apartment on two floors a comfortable retreat. The apartment is located 3 km above Safien Platz at 1530 m above sea level, on a road that is open all year round but little used. The parking space at the entrance belongs to it. Hiking, skiing or snowshoeing tours can start right at the front door. 

The non-smoking apartment is not wheelchair accessible and pets are not allowed.

There is the possibility to buy farm products (dairy products, meat, eggs...) on site. Shopping facilities for daily needs are available in the village shop and in the SPENSA in Safien Platz (5 minutes drive). There you will also find the post bus stop, the restaurant Rathaus, the municipal office with tourist information etc.
