More information by the provider: Chalet Pollux is a luxurious independent three storey chalet with 4 double bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, close to the Matterhorn Express lift station and 4 minute walk from the church square. Tucked against a beautiful hillside, the numerous balconies and large terrace give you bird's eye views of the village and the surrounding mountains, encompassing all 3 of Zermatt's ski areas. The sun baths the chalet as soon as it emerges. On the ground floor you have the sitting room with fireplace and an open-plan kitchen with the dining table, both giving on to the terrace accessed through French windows. There the chalet enjoys the use of its own unique private outdoor hot-tub. There is also a utility room with washing machine and dryer and a guest W/C. All 4 bedrooms can be configured as doubles or twins and have their own TV. Each with an en-suite bathrooms, 3 with a bathtub with hand-held shower and WC, 1 with shower and a separate WC. With geothermal heating to reduce the chalet's carbon foot-print as much as possible. Pets on request. Our Rates include: Concierge Service, Wifi, VAT and cleaning on departure. Daily cleaning on request. Pets on request. Upon your arrival in resort we will ask for your credit card details by way of security for any damage you may cause to the property you are staying in. This Chalet can also be booked with full cooked breakfast and daily cleaning. This service includes also a mid-week linen and towel and service bar. The minimum length of stay is one week. Weekly Supplement on self-catered basis rate is: CHF 3,000.- If you would like to rent this chalet with half-board we will offer you additionally: Afternoon tea and cake, champagne with canapés, magnificent 4 course gourmet dinner, different wine pairs (white and red) each evening, Children's menu if required, Open bar. The minimum length of stay is one week. Weekly Supplement on self-catered basis rate is: CHF 6,500.- If rented with breakfast or catered you will receive a 5* service from our qualified chef and housekeeper staff, on 6 out of 7 days. Covid-19 Cancellation Terms: If you are unable to travel as a result of the following COVID-related circumstances: - Formal government travel advice from your country of departure against travel to Switzerland - Country border closures preventing travel from country of departure or arrival to Switzerland - Unavailability of flights/transport to Property You can chose between the following 2 options: - Use your payment as a credit for a future stay in a Mountain Exposure Chalet - Cancel your booking - in this case we will retain 25% of the full booking price. Chalet Pollux is a luxurious independent three storey chalet with 4 double bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. The Chalet has a heated outdoor hot-tub with beautiful mountain views. Its location provides the best of both worlds: spectacular views and easy access. 200m from the Matterhorn Express base lift station and resort run there is a street level tunnel which leads you to a lift (elevator) built inside the mountain, from the top of which there is a gentle 2 minute walk to the property and an exterior stairway. The chalet comes with an electro wagon and stair-lift which our staff will use to move your luggage and shopping as required. Guests can leave theirs skis and boots in the tunnel's ski-room. The entrance to the tunnel is 200 metres from the end of the ski runs beneath the Matterhorn Express lift station, just a 4 minute walk from the church square. Our concierge team will ensure that you get the most out of your holiday and look after you before, during and after your stay with us. They will help you select a number of other services. These may include child care, health and beauty treatments, planning your heli-skiing adventures, booking your restaurants, ski lessons and transfer arrangements...
