Description of the holiday rental

The over 150-year-old alpine hut has been carefully renovated and "spruced up". The authentic charm of this historic building has been retained and conveys a cosy, quiet atmosphere.
It is situated in a quiet, sunny location in an extensive forest clearing.
The kitchen and living room/bedroom are separate and offer a generous amount of space: both rooms are flooded with light and invite you to relax. In the colder months, you and your better half can gather around the wood-burning stove while listening to the crackling fire and warming up in a cosy atmosphere. In summer, the sun shines generously on the inviting rock terrace almost all day long and the covered arbour offers shelter even in bad weather.
Like all my huts, the "Alp Schneit" also conveys authenticity in the midst of a picturesque mountain world. This place of tranquillity invites you to switch off. No electro smog, romantic lighting is provided by petrol lamps and candles. The toilet is traditionally a clean, spacious outhouse.
All prices are definitive: no hidden additional costs!
The price includes bed linen and towels, hot tub, firewood, cleaning and visitor's tax.

Location description: The large mountain meadow on which the house stands is accessible by a forest road. It is very remote and yet easily accessible, with hardly anyone passing by apart from the farmer.
