Cozy Studio with Wellness* Nestled in beautiful nature, the studio is an ideal retreat for nature and sports enthusiasts, both in winter and summer. The accommodation is slightly elevated above Blitzingen and impresses with a magnificent view of the mountains. In summer, the studio in the Castle residence is a great starting point for hiking lovers. Just above the accommodation, the famous Gommer Höhenweg runs through (from Oberwald to Bellwald), and there are generally beautiful hikes that can be undertaken from here. The studio is located on the top floor (3rd floor) with a mountain view. After an extensive hiking day, you can comfortably unwind on the balcony (with evening sun). In winter: The beautiful Gommer cross-country ski trail (about 21km from Oberwald to Niederwald) runs just below the village of Blitzingen. You can park your car well at the Olympia Sport parking lot, and for those who want to start cross-country skiing a bit higher up in the Gommertal, there are very good train connections from Blitzingen to Oberwald. Since the accommodation is slightly elevated - with a wonderful view of the Gommertal - arriving by car is recommended. The proximity to the Aletscharena ski area also makes the accommodation an ideal starting point for ski and snowboard enthusiasts. The valley station in Fiesch can be reached in about 15 minutes. During the main season* (mid-December to mid-March and mid-June to mid-October), a small but fine wellness oasis awaits you after a long day in the fresh air. The spa area includes: sauna, whirlpool, steam bath, and a relaxation room with a wonderful view of the Gommer mountain world. Ideal for relaxing moments after an active day. The wellness area is available to the studio guests free of charge (bathrobes are provided).
