The light-flooded living room with wood-burning stove creates a special atmosphere of well-being. The open plan kitchen is modern and fully equipped. There are four bedrooms; one of them has an ensuite bathroom. The balconies as well as the spacious terrace offer spectacular views over the Val d'Herens and over the Valais 4000m-peaks such as Dent Blanche. Private parking is available close by
The restaurant called Le Bois Sauvage and a small supermarket are located in the centre of Les Masses. Distance to the larger Les Collons ~2 km with shops, restaurants, pubs, ski rental shop, ski school, bank, post office. Indoor swimming pool and kindergarten (from 18 months on, in winter season) at Thyon 2000, ~6 km. There are charming winter hiking trails and snowshoe routes. The traditional village of Héremence is about 2.5 km away. There you can walk through picturesque narrow streets with historic wooden houses - a mountain village like in a picture book.ski info

Summer guests in Les Collons/Les Masses can expect a wide range of activities. It is part of a vast hiking area, there are several mountain bike routes. You can also walk with no great differences in altitude along the "Suonen" (historic irrigation channels). You can also go horse riding, climbing, paragliding or bowling. In the Valais’ capital Sion, it is worth to go shopping or to spend an evening eating a gourmet meal. More sights in the proximity: underground lake St-Léonard, the Grande Dixence dam and lake – at 285 m the highest dam in the world.
