Our house is located in the village of La Punt in the Arvins area on the Albula slope. The property, built in 1982 in the Engadine style, is situated in an excellent, very sunny and quiet location at the end of a cul-de-sac. The marvellous 180° panoramic view to the south extends over the village of La Punt Chamues-ch to Piz La Margna above Maloja. Shops (bakery and Volg) as well as the railway station and bus stop can be reached in about 5 minutes on foot. There are also three restaurants within this distance. Our 1-room holiday flat is a spacious attic flat with an incomparable view of the Upper Engadine and Chamuera Valley. We attach great importance to a well-kept and cosy interior, so that you immediately feel at home with us. The lovingly furnished holiday flat, which was gently renovated in 2001, really invites you to linger. The dining table is right by the window and from the cosy sofa you can watch more than 200 TV programmes via a digital TV system. The open-plan kitchen is equipped with everything you need for a small household. There is a shower (enclosed wet room) in the flat, which is fully tiled with ceramic tiles. The beds have recently been replaced and are in very good condition. The entire flat is equipped with floor tiles and underfloor heating, which provides a pleasant warmth. On the balcony (small table and 2 garden chairs available) facing south, you can enjoy the fresh Engadine mountain air at any time of year, weather permitting. Of course there is also a parking space available for your car (train travellers can be picked up free of charge at the station on request). We wish you a wonderful and relaxing holiday in our house. Excursion possibilities: These mountains. These lakes. This light! On 580 kilometres of hiking trails across all mountains or with 456416 the mountain bike on 400 kilometres of pleasure trails: the Upper Engadine offers a first-class network of hiking trails and mountain bike trails in the midst of the pristine mountain world and the inspiring Upper Engadine lake district. The four flow trails on the Corviglia provide the right flow. The lakes of the Upper Engadin are also popular with sports enthusiasts. Kitesurfing, sailing, windsurfing, stand-up paddling: the possibilities are almost endless. The expanse of the inspiring high valley can be experienced in a particularly impressive way on the two 18-hole golf courses in Samedan and Zuoz. And in addition to the wide range of sporting activities on offer, there are also first-class cultural attractions such as a visit to the museum or the numerous art galleries in the various villages.
In winter, 350 kilometres of the finest pistes in the Corviglia, Corvatsch and Diavolezza ski areas and the family-friendly Zuoz invite you to enjoy true skiing and snowboarding fun. Cross-country skiers will find over 220 kilometres of groomed trails in the Upper Engadine and the side valleys. The winter hiking trails and cross-country ski trails on the frozen lakes of the Upper Engadine sparkle with light, sunshine and vastness in the midst of an inspiring mountain world. Those who want to enjoy the tranquillity and beauty of the snow-covered forests can hike along the 150 km of winter hiking trails in the side valleys of Val Roseg, Val Fex or Val Bever, while those who prefer an overview can enjoy breathtaking views on the panoramic hiking trails high above the lakes on Muottas Muragl. Families can enjoy the Engadin sunshine on a carriage ride into Val Roseg or Val Fex, or sledge down into the valley on the 4.2 km long, winding Muottas Muragl toboggan run.
