For peaceful and pleasant walks, you can walk along the typical Valais waterways of the Bisses. In La Tzoumaz there is the Trail of the Senses at an altitude of 1,700 metres, with 12 'sensory stations' and an exhibition on the regional flora and fauna. Pleasant walks, e.g. sections of the typical Valais 'Bisses' (bisses) waterways. The Bisse de Saxon leads from La Tzoumaz via Nendaz to Vercorin. Total network of paths around 150 km. Interesting excursion possibilities due to the location in the border triangle of Switzerland - Italy - France, e.g. with the Mont Blanc Express to Chamonix, or over the Great St. Bernard Pass into the Italian Aosta Valley.
