Beschrijving van het vakantieappartement
Our apartment in the Chalet Walker is located between the lifts Riederfurka and Hohfluh. You can start the day directly in front of the chalet on your skis and come back in the apartment without walking. In summer you can start different hikings/ mountain-biking-tours in each direction. If your destination is the Riederhorn, the new pendant bridge, the Aletsch-wood or central Riederalp/ Bettmeralp/ Fiesch, you have all opportunities! You won´t get bored - neither in summer nor in winter! If you arrive by car or train in the valley you should take the cablecar "Riederalp West". From the top station you arrive the Chalet within 5-10 Minutes walking distance (depends on snow and walking speed). On the cable car station there is a grocery store (Olympia-Shopping) where you can buy fresh bread and rolls for the breakfast and all necessary groceries. You can go there even with ski and take the Riederfurka Lift back to the chalet. Restaurants and Cafes are also nearby (f.e. Restaurant Danys, where you get the key to the apartment). You can buy your ski pass on the cable car station or at the station of Hohfluh lift. Here you also find a shop where you can rent ski and snowboards.
