Haus Mathis is situated on the edge of Weggis 1.2 km from the centre. The 2-room flat is furnished, has TV, radio, own washing machine, bathroom and kitchen equipment. The flat with a wonderful view of the lake and mountains (Pilatus, Bürgenstock, Stanserhorn etc.) is only separated by the cantonal road on Lake Lucerne (with swimming opportunity via stairs). 2 garden seating areas. Non-smoking flat. Countless beautiful hiking possibilities, also on our local mountain the Rigi. Reachable by cable car from Weggis (15 min. walk from us) or from our neighbouring village of Vitznau by cog railway. Lucerne can be reached by boat or bus-train.

Other sports and leisure activities: Many hiking possibilities on the Rigi, our local mountain. Cycling along Lake Lucerne, swimming across the road in the clean, clear waters of Lake Lucerne.

Excursions: Weggis lies in central Switzerland and at the foot of the Rigi, a large hiking area. The Gotthard is also a good hour's drive away. Lucerne 20Km. Zurich 70km.
