A lovely 2 story penthouse with spectacular views of the Matterhorn consisting of 3 double bedrooms, each with ensuite bathroom, a comfortable living room with fireplace, a spacious dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and 2 balconies overlooking the ski slopes and the Vispa river. The apartment has access to a shared ski room on the ground floor. The lift goes from the ground floor directly to the entrance of the apartment. The accommodation is in a quiet area, while also being conveniently located: about 5 minute walk from the Sunnegga Express cable car and 10 from the village center and the train station.

Location

Quiet location on the Vispa River close to the taxi stand and the heliport. Across the street from the bus stop for the free shuttle bus to Matterhorn glacier Paradise and other local bus lines. Since it is right along the main road following the river, walking and biking to Zermatt highlights in the center is flat and easy.

Capacity

The apartment sleeps up to 8 people in 3 bedrooms.

Bedroom 1: Lower floor. One queen size bed.  Large ensuite bathroom with bathtub/shower/jacuzzi. Window overlooking yard.

Bedroom 2: Upper floor. One queen size bed. Ensuite bathroom with shower. Private balcony with views of the Matterhorn.

Bedroom 3: Upper floor. One double bed and sofa which converts to a double bed, comfortably accommodating 4 people. Ensuite bathroom with shower. Window overlooks yard….?

Amentities

The spacious open plan kitchen and living area exudes comfort and coziness. Ceiling to floor windows offer daily spectacular views of the village and mountains. A large dining table seats 8 people. The kitchen is fully equipped with full sized refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, electric 4 burner hob, built in coffee machine, a Nespresso machine, and a generous selection of dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils for, among other things, enjoying a fondue or raclette.  A spacious sofa and a fireplace complete the ideal setting for relaxing and talking about enjoying the many activities Zermatt has to offer. The space opens onto a balcony with a view of the Matterhorn, where there are table and chairs, wood to fire the stove, and a charcoal barbeque grill.
