Maiensäss Camona, Siat

Bedrooms:
Two unheated bedrooms at the back of the hut, each with a double bunk bed (140 cm), duvets and pillows. Bed linen is included in the price. It is also possible to bring your own sleeping bag, please let us know when booking.

Kitchen / living area:
Well-equipped kitchen with running cold spring water, gas cooker, oven and wood-burning stove (gas, wood and cleaning products are included in the price). Up to 8 people can comfortably spend time together at the pull-out table with corner bench and 3 chairs. A "natural fridge", a stainless steel tub, is located in the floor of the living area. Kitchen linen is included in the price. There are various books and magazines as well as games for indoors and outdoors. Everything can be carefully read and played.

Bathroom:
True luxury in this mountain world is offered by the toilet and washbasin with running water. The shower is located outdoors, a corresponding construction outside the hut. Showering with a unique panorama! Please bring your own towels.

Miscellaneous:
Outdoors, there are various sun loungers, seating options, two large tables with benches, sun awning, a mobile sunshade and a grill available. So you can enjoy the peace, sun and view to the fullest. To cool off, a wooden fountain with the most wonderful spring water is located right in front of the house.
The power supply is generated via a solar panel. There is light in every room. Electronic devices can be charged with the appropriate connecting cable. Some adapters as well as the most common charging cables for mobile phones are available.
The final cleaning must be carried out by the tenant, any subsequent cleaning will be charged to the tenant on site. A waste fee bag (35l) is included, further ones can be obtained during handover.

Siat has been part of the new municipality Ilanz/Glion since 2014. The village is located in a terrace basin on the sunny side of the Surselva. The wonderful view into the surrounding mountain world is indescribable. The Maiensäss is suitable for everyone who is looking for peace and relaxation in the unique mountain world of Surselva. Both young couples and seniors, families with children or active guests will get their money's worth in Camona. The Maiensäss Camona Siat is a beautiful holiday accommodation in all seasons. On the west side of the hut there is a forest with a trail to a small mountain stream, suitable for small and big explorers.

The village shop in Siat is open Monday to Saturday. Further shops and shopping centers can be found in the town of Ilanz, about 10 kilometers away.

A freely accessible parking lot is available in Siat. The walk to Camona takes about 15 minutes in summer and in winter, depending on the amount of snow, about 30 minutes. There is also a parking lot at the Maiensäss, a driving permit from the municipality Ilanz/Glion is required to drive to the hut. This can be obtained during office hours at the municipality Ilanz/Glion or from the holiday apartment landlord.
