TV / WLAN: There is no TV / WLAN in the holiday home Sackbergli – deliberately. Instead, there is plenty of space for peace, real conversations and quality time together. The mountains provide the best entertainment: playing, laughing, switching off and simply enjoying the moment. Here, everyday life can take a break.

Escape to car-free Braunwald

The 6.5-room holiday home Sackbergli – your escape to car-free Braunwald. Quietly located, surrounded by nature and easily accessible by taxi directly from the mountain station of the funicular railway.

Up here, you breathe fresh mountain air and enjoy a breathtaking view of the Ortstock and Tödi, the highest peak in the Glarus Alps.

The Sackbergli is the perfect retreat for all generations: children explore nature, adults unwind and grandparents feel completely at home. A place to arrive, breathe and be together. For relaxed days, shared experiences and small adventures far away from everyday life – high above everything that stays below.

House:

1 bathroom on the ground floor with shower, additional shower in the basement, 2 toilets, upstairs bathroom with washbasin

Optional additional costs:

• Towels per person (can also be brought along): CHF 10.00
• Use of the sauna (flat rate): CHF 80.00

Location:

Travel to Linthal-Braunwald railway station, take the funicular to Braunwald, a 15-minute uphill walk or take a taxi (Schumi-Trans or Schuler Transporte) to Sackbergli.

If there is enough snow, the Braunwald ski slopes are directly accessible by ski. It is a 5-minute walk to the Hof Hüttenberg/Umlaufbahn ski lift, the children’s area, and the Fuchsgadä après-ski bar. Various public restaurants and hotels are nearby (Tödiblick, Cristal, Panoramahotel, Bsinti).

The two village shops are also within easy walking distance, and for a small additional charge, groceries can be delivered directly to the holiday home.
