Our alpine hut stands at 1470 metres above sea level on Alp Mittelstofel, on a high plateau at the foot of the imposing Churfirsten mountains with a magnificent view of the Toggenburg mountains, only about 40 minutes' walk from the Berghotel Sellamatt and the mountain station of the Alt St. Johann - Sellamatt mountain railway. The hut is located directly in the hiking area and on the Toggenburg legend trail. Far away from the valley and the hustle and bustle. The alpine hut is easily accessible by car via the toll road from Unterwasser.You are guaranteed to hear nothing at night here and the stars shine particularly brightly. Where the mountain spirit lives on the legend trail.
