Spacious, ground floor 2½ room flat with 60 m2 gross floor area for up to 2 people. The flat has a beautiful and sunny terrace with a wonderful view of the Matterhorn. It is modernly equipped and has two bathrooms (1x shower/WC and 1x bath tub/WC) as well as a kitchen with all comforts such as a glass ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, "Nespresso" capsule coffee machine and toaster.

For the first day of rental, a starter set with rubbish bag, coffee capsules, soap and shampoo is provided.

In the living room you will find a modern Smart LCD TV with international cable TV, as well as free Wi-Fi internet.

Modern and beautiful flat house in a very central and sunny location in the village centre.
The train stop to the ski and hiking area Gornergrat Paradise is about 150 metres from the house and can be reached on foot in 5 minutes. The bus stop of the ski bus, which takes you to the other lifts, is also 5 minutes away on foot. There is a ski room with heated ski boot locker in the house.
In the immediate vicinity of the house there are shopping facilities, sports shops as well as restaurants. Zermatt's Bahnhofstrasse with all its shops, restaurants and bars can be reached on foot in about 2 minutes.

There is a lift in the house.

Our guests also have access to an exclusive wellness area and a large pool, where you can really relax after a strenuous day in the mountains of Zermatt. This facility is located in the 4 star plus Hotel Schweizerhof and is connected to the Whymper House by a tunnel and is only open and available during the opening hours of the hotel. During the low season this facilities are closed. Open approx. mid-December - mid-April and mid-July - end of August.

Please note that due to the very central location and the proximity to the sports fields (tennis/ice hockey) as well as the children's playgrounds next to the house, there may be some noise. This is not disturbing, but the flat is not in an absolutely quiet location. In addition, the tents of the famous music festival "Zermatt Unplugged" are also set up in the immediate vicinity for about 2 weeks in April and there may also be disturbances due to the concerts.

All flats are non-smoking and pets are not allowed.
