Description of the holiday rental
Genéral
Authentic wooden duplex chalet (built in 1722) in the quaint village of La Forclaz. Built during 18th century, the ceilings are low and the stairs are steep. The equipment is new and adapted to everyday life. A beautiful garden with view on the mountains and two terraces are available to guests.
La Forclaz is located about 15 minutes from Leysin, Les Diablerets and Les Mosses. Ideal for a calm holiday in the middle of the nature. Use of a car is not necessary to discover nature, it is accessible by foot or snowshoe. The chalet is ideally located for your hikes.
Spread over 3 floors, the apartment consists of:
Ground floor:
- Well-equipped open kitchen and dining room
- Living room with TV and a small desk
- Bathroom with bathtub
First floor
- 1 bedroom with a double bed (2 people)
- 1 bedroom with a double bed and one single bed (3 people)
- 1 bedroom with a bunk bed (2 people)
- 1 large bathroom with WC, shower and two sinks
Second floor
- 1 bedroom with low ceiling (max 1m40) with 3 single beds (3 people)
Remarks:
- Chalet not adapted to infants (steep stairs)
- Bedlinen and towels NOT included
- Non-smoking chalet
- Pets are allowed on demand
Conditions/suppléments
Included in base price:
- Electricity
- Firewood (extra electric heating at disposal)
Extra charges (obligatory):
- Cleaning package: CHF 200.-. (A supplement shall be charged in the case of excess)
- Tourist Tax: CHF 3.80 per adult/night, CHF 1.90 per child/night, CHF 1.90 per Senior/night
- Arrival outside opening hours/day: between CHF 50 and CHF 100
- Deposit: CHF 500.- blocked on a credit card at the arrival. The amount will be release 14 days after the departure.
