Location:
The beautiful, cozy and charming apartment is on the ground floor of a quiet Engadin house (with four holiday apartments), in the middle of La Punt Chamues-ch, in a very bright and sunny location with an open view of the village and mountains.
In summer as an ideal starting point for hikes and mountain bike tours. A perfect starting point for all cross-country skiers in winter: 150 meters from the famous Engadin ski marathon route, with a direct connection to the entire Upper Engadin cross-country ski trail network.

About the apartment:
The interior is partly made of Swiss stone pine wood, with a kitchen that is open to the dining area. The living room is furnished with a comfortable sofa bed, armchairs and a fireplace and is lovingly decorated: TV and radio as well as free WiFi are of course included. An additional, separate small bedroom with bunk beds offers sleeping accommodation for up to four people in the apartment, although we recommend renting it for 2-3 adults: it is ideal for families with up to 2 children.
The kitchen is fully equipped, including a coffee machine (Nespresso or filter coffee), kettle, toaster, fridge (with freezer compartment), oven and tasteful, coordinated crockery and cutlery. Basic equipment of spices is available.
The bathroom has a bath with shower attachment, floor heating throughout the apartment offers cozy warmth in the cold Engadin winter.
The patio, with lots of sun, an unobstructed view and a great mountain panorama - is equipped with folding and deck chairs and a table.

Additional equipment:
Washing machine and dryer available in a separate common room. A ski room with a wax stand/table for the perfect preparation of cross-country skis is also available for athletes. For your car, the underground parking space (no. 69) is included in the rental price (bike hangers are available in the garage).
Smoking is not allowed in the apartment. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed either.

La Punt Chamues-ch, a village at the southern foot of the Albula Pass, at around 1700m above sea level, away from the hustle and bustle and yet in the heart of the Upper Engadin. Ideal starting point for sports, nature-loving and cultural activities in the region. A lively, well-preserved village that offers everything you need. The Engadin farmhouses and patrician houses from the 16th and 17th centuries give the village a very special charm.
In summer, the area offers a variety of tours on mountain bikes, racing bikes, inline skates or on foot, with numerous hiking routes or walks along the nearby rivers and lakes.
In winter, the wide plain with the perfectly groomed trails invites you to unique cross-country skiing experiences: the cross-country skiing paradise of the Upper Engadin with the original Engadin ski marathon route and an extensive trail network of around 250 km. The downhill ski areas can also be reached quickly and easily.

Excursion possibilities: What mountains. What lakes. What light! Whether on the 580km (360 miles) of hiking paths strewn over all the mountains or by mountain bike along 400km (250 miles) of fabulous trails: the Upper Engadin offers a superb network of paths and trails amidst an unspoilt Alpine landscape and the inspiring lake plateau. Four flow trails on the Corviglia guarantee a perfect flow. Equally popular among sports enthusiasts are the Upper Engadin lakes; kiting, sailing, windsurfing, stand up paddling – the possibilities are virtually endless. The expanse of the inspiring high-lying valley can be experienced in a particularly striking way on the two 18-hole golf courses in Samedan and Zuoz. And besides the wide range of sporting options, visitors can take advantage of the first-class cultural activities on offer, such as a visit to a museum or to one of the numerous art galleries in the various villages.  
In winter, the ski areas of Corviglia, Corvatsch, Diavolezza and family friendly Zuoz invite ski and snowboard enthusiasts to revel in 350 kilometres (218 miles) of the finest powder snow. Cross-country skiers will find over 220km (137 miles) of perfectly groomed trails in the Upper Engadin and the side valleys. The winter hiking paths and cross-country ski trails on the frozen Upper Engadin lakes are characterised by their light, sunshine and space amidst inspiring Alpine scenery. Those who would like to enjoy the tranquillity and beauty of the snow-covered forests can explore the side valleys of Val Roseg, Val Fex or Val Bever on 150 kilometres (90 miles) of winter hiking paths. Visitors who prefer to have everything in view, meanwhile, will delight in the breathtaking vistas on the panorama hiking trails high above the lakes on Muottas Muragl.  
Families can bask in the Engadin sun during a ride in a horse-drawn carriage into the Val Roseg or Val Fex, or race down the mountainside into the valley on the winding, 4.2km (2.6 mile) long toboggan run on Muottas Muragl.
