The Belalp has long been a well-kept secret as a ski area. Who wouldn’t want to recount their day on the slopes and their sledding adventure in a cozy hut, over a glass of wine? In summer, the lively alpine farming comes alive here. If you want to see how the aromatic mountain cheese is made, you can watch—and of course taste—it right outside your door. If you're traveling with children, be sure to bring extra clothes, as there seems to be a magical charm to the numerous mountain streams.
