Description of the holiday rental
Summer still has free weeks! The chalet is located in the first row of houses. It is particularly popular with families with children – thanks to a lawn in front of the chalet. It's only a few minutes to the nearby Tschuggen forest playground. The chalet also features (which is not standard in Tschuggen) a separate entrance area. The forecourt invites you to sunbathe (deck chairs provided) or to cozy reading hours in the green. The chalet is rented out to a maximum of 6 people. It has a balcony with a great view towards Simplon and Brig. Inside, you will find three bedrooms with two beds each (two bedrooms with washbasin) as well as a bathroom with shower/WC and a guest WC on the upper floor. The (new and installed in summer 2017) kitchen is very cozy and top equipped (with dishwasher and large refrigerator). In the living room, you will find a dining nook, a fireplace and a seating area (note: TV without Swiss channels)! The chalet has Wi-Fi. Summer: The chalet comes with a personal (and covered) parking space, which can be reached in about 3 minutes on foot. Excursion destinations such as Zermatt, Saas-Fee, Simplon Pass and the Goms are easily accessible by car. In summer, the Brigerbad thermal baths, the Bammatta outdoor pool – or a hike to Belalp and from there via suspension bridge to Riederalp are also popular. In winter, Tschuggen is car-free, which is very popular and makes the village an idyll. In winter, you can reach Tschuggen via the aerial tramway and the middle station Erich. Luggage transport can be organized. The Belalp ski area can be optimally reached via the middle or valley station (by ski). Thanks to the eight-seater gondola lift, there are no more waiting times at the valley station, which is an added value for Tschuggen. Evening toboggan rides to the valley station are also popular. The 7-kilometer-long toboggan run from Belalp down to Blatten passes by Tschuggen and thus the chalets. The ski area extends up to an altitude of 3,100 meters, which promises snow security until Easter. Once Tschuggen – always Tschuggen!
