Description of the holiday rental

You will live in a modern apartment in the peaceful village of Kandersteg.
The property was built in 2016 and is only a 10 minute walk from the train station. The center of the village where shops (also open Sundays) are, as well as the access points for various recreational activities are all within minutes. A parking space in front of the house is reserved for you.
Our accommodation is suitable for couples, single travelers and families with children.

The spac
You will live in a beautiful apartment on the top floor of a wooden multi-storey building completed in 2016. The painstaking attention devoted to its construction is reflected in all its details, and evinced in its high ceilings and cozy alcoves. The apartment is furnished and decorated according to the highest possible standards, and every detail has been carefully thought through.

To ensure a pleasant room temperature, the cement floor (stained brown) has underfloor heating. This can be individually adjusted for each room.

The kitchen is equipped with a glass ceramic cooktop, an oven, a refrigerator and a dishwasher. You can enjoy fondue, a regional cheese specialty, using a special set available. The dining table can easily accommodate 6 people.

A sofa and armchairs in the living room are your invitation to relax. Tucked away in the antique rustic wardrobe you will find a radio with a 32-inch Full HD television with over 100 channels. You may want to use it to relax for a couple of hours despite (or perhaps because of) the number of outdoor activities on offer in Kandersteg.
From the living area you have access to two balconies: a smaller one facing east and the main balcony equipped with a bistro table and chairs that faces south.

The bedroom has a 160 cm double bed. A small wardrobe with shelves and hangers will allow you to store the contents of your luggage out of sight. The bedroom has its own balcony that faces east. If you leave the blinds ajar, you will be gently awoken by the morning sun!

The bathroom has a shower and toilet as well as a simple top-mount sink on an antique wooden dresser. Practical storage options mounted on the wall will provide you with all the necessary storage space.
A special feature of this apartment is the small mezzanine below the roof’s ridge. A retractable staircase leads you up to this niche that contains 2 mattresses. The mezzanine can be used as a bed for two additional people. It has a small skylight through which you can watch the stars while lying in bed on a clear night.
