Description of the holiday rental
The 45 m2 studio features a private bathroom with shower and toilet. The room is furnished with a dining table, sofa and a 180 cm wide double bed. Views of the open valley and the garden. This studio has a large kitchen with induction hob, fridge, dishwasher and oven. A Nespresso machine and the necessary crockery are provided. In addition to underfloor heating, a fireplace provides cosy warmth and a homely atmosphere. WLAN reception in every studio. Upon arrival, we provide you with coffee capsules, crispbread, butter, honey and coffee cream for your first breakfast. From Bellinzona, the silhouette of the Palazzo Comacio appears at the edge of Roveredo, right next to the Romanesque tower of the San Giulio church. The imposing building bears the name of its builder, Tomaso Comacio. Roveredo is the main town of the Mesolcina valley and lies in the valley floor. The village is nestled in a hilly mountain landscape that conveys a sense of security. In addition to some remarkable historic buildings, Roveredo offers a lively village life and an intact infrastructure, including grocery stores, a health food store, two butchers, two pharmacies, a bakery, restaurants and bars. The Moesa river, which flows through the village, offers safe swimming opportunities in the summer season. Bellinzona can be reached by public transport in half an hour, Locarno and Lugano in one hour. Art and culture The Val Calanca and Val Mesolcina valleys offer a rich cultural life. Here people dance, sing, eat, drink, laugh, sow, harvest... You can meet in the mountains, in the valley, on horseback, on hikes, at art exhibitions and vernissages. There are countless ways to have fun here, whether relaxing, exploring by bike, taking a refreshing dip in the Moesa river or showering under one of the many waterfalls in the valley.
