The kitchen, which is open to the dining area, is fully equipped with an electric hob and oven, fridge, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, fondue and raclette dishes, kettle and much more. There is an additional fridge in the cellar. A washing machine can also be used in the bathroom with shower. In the immediate vicinity of the house, without being surrounded by a holiday home settlement, are the houses of the locals in a typical Obertoggenburg scattered settlement with cow pastures. There are walking and hiking trails right from the front door. In winter there is a ski bus stop just 20 metres from the house. Other sporting activities in the area include fishing, mountaineering, ice skating, hunting, climbing, mountain biking, cycling, riding, tobogganing, alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, sports centre, tennis. And for excursions there is the Säntis (panoramic mountain), Säntispark (adventure pool), Appenzell, Lichtenstein (Vaduz) and Bregenz.
