You access the flat through the staircase on the ground floor, where there is a practical built-in wardrobe that belongs to the flat. You enter the flat through the spacious kitchen, which is located in the old, stone-built part of the house. The kitchen has a Tiba wood cooker, 4 plate induction cooker with extractor fan, washer-dryer (no dishwasher) and a dining table for 4 people, which invites you to linger directly by the cosy wood cooker. To the left is the small shower room with rainforest shower, towel heating and daylight, to the right the open-plan living/sleeping area. The living room has a seating area for 4-6 people, a sofa bed, DVD player, TV set (only for playing DVDs, no TV connection) and wifi. The sleeping area has a double bed, 1 wardrobe, 1 chest of drawers and access to the small but lovely west-facing balcony, where you can enjoy the afternoon sun with views of the mountains and fountain. You might also get a visit from Mo, the curious cat from the neighbourhood. The flat is heated by the Tiba wood stove in the kitchen and an electric hot plate heater. Wood for the stove can be found in front of the house in the middle wood store. Here is also the parking space, which can be used by all 3 parties of the house. Should it ever be occupied, there is further parking space approx. 25 metres away (public parking spaces) or covered in the Kippel multi-storey car park (approx. 300 meters away).

From our flat you can easily reach on foot 3 restaurants (Dorfkeller, Petersgrat, Bietschhorn), the bakery, the Lötschental Museum, the Albert Nyfeler Atelierhaus, petrol station / car garage, a beauty salon and a hairdresser (max. distance approx. 5 minutes). The valley station of the gondola, which takes you from Wiler to Lauchernalp for hiking or skiing, is about a 7-minute walk away. There is of course also a bus connection to Wiler, the bus stop Kippel Altersheim can be reached in about 2 minutes. The cross-country skiing and hiking trail network begins at the edge of the village of Kippel. From here, hiking trails lead you up to Fafleralp, Lötschenpasshütte or, for experienced hikers, to the Bietschhorn.

Pure relaxation in a historic Valais house at the village fountain of Kippel.

Our cosy, approx. 47 sqm flat is located in the historic village centre of Kippel, directly opposite the village fountain, 1 minute's walk away from the rustic restaurant "Dorfkeller". It is located on the ground floor of a 3-party holiday house, which was built around 1600. It is part of an ensemble of buildings of similar construction, which make up the incomparable charm of the old village centre of Kippel. The flat has 2.5 rooms and is suitable for 2 adults and a maximum of 2 children.
