The apartment occupies the Garden of the Chalet, wood paneling create a warm atmosphere very popular with our travelers. The separate entrance ensures your complete independence. The kitchenette is perfectly equipped for a short or longer stay.
The bedroom has a double bed.
A private terrace offers a view of large vegetable garden and flowers in the beautiful season that will delight children and nature lovers.
Its location allows access to all shops and amenities on foot.

Located a few minutes from Salvan train station, a few minutes from the Marécottes family ski resort and 10 minutes drive from Martigny. A mountain train "Mont Blanc Express" runs daily between Martigny and Chamonix and stops at Salvan.
At Salvan station, one train per hour to Martigny or France. Assured correspondence for Lausanne or Sion.

In summer, great walks and hikes with views of Mont Blanc or in the valley of Van where you can easily see chamois and ibex.
In summer, the famous natural swimming pool cut in the rock of the highest alpine zoo in Europe, the zoo is open all year round just like its restaurant.
You can also practice canyoning, paragliding, climbing, ski touring ect.


30 minutes from Salvan, the Gorges du Triège are just at the entrance of the village Le Trétien.
The historical route of the stagecoach route also starts from this village.
In winter, a free shuttle picks up skiers and toboggans directly in the village to take them to the gondola Les Marécottes.
The tourist train, it takes you in 45 minutes at the foot of the slopes of the domain of Balme in Vallorcine. (There is a train + ski package). You also have access to other ski areas in the Chamonix Valley.
A few meters from the apartment you will find: Food store including butchery and bakery, cafes, restaurants and bancomat.


In 10 minutes you are in Martigny if you want to visit the Giannada Foundation.
In 45 minutes and you are in the thermal baths of Saillon!
With the little tourist train that takes you through spectacular landscapes, you are in one hour, at the foot of Mont Blanc, the roof of Europe and in the middle of Chamonix, the world capital of Mountaineering with its history, its streets cosmopolitan, its shops and elegant hotels.

Special notes regarding property cleaning and preparation protocols:

Since the beginning of the COVID 19 crisis in March 2020, we have fully equipped and trained our caretakers in the protocols for cleaning and preparing accommodation according to the recommendations of the Swiss and European health authorities, namely:

Protective measures for the use of housekeepers
Before starting to clean the property, the persons in charge of these services must wash their hands and put on disposable waterproof gloves and must avoid touching their faces when cleaning the premises.
Gloves must be discarded after each session.
Housekeepers should wash their hands immediately after removing their gloves, and be sure to ventilate and circulate air throughout the property during and after cleaning.

Property cleaning:
Often touched surfaces are cleaned and disinfected after each stay. Frequently affected surfaces include: tables, hard-backed chairs, door handles, stair rails, switches, remote controls, cabinet and closet handles, desks, toilets, sinks and sinks, bedside tables and kitchen worktops and other bathroom surfaces, but also key boxes.
A two-step approach is used to ensure the hygiene of these surfaces: to begin with, the janitors use detergent or soap and hot water to clean any traces of dirt on these surfaces, before carrying out a complete disinfection , to eliminate germs.
Hardly touched surfaces - Floors, walls, blinds and all other surfaces that are not touched as often are cleaned with hot water and detergent.
The disinfection products used are taken from the list established by the Federal Office of Public Health.

Towels, sheets and other household linen -
The janitors are provided with disposable gloves when changing the linen. The laundry is washed using the warmest temperature and completely dried.

Tourist taxes are payable locally in cash:
