The Residenza has two large sunbathing lawns directly on the lake. You can cool off on hot days not only in the lake, but also in one of the Residenza's two swimming pools. It offers space for up to 2 people. The furnishings are cosy and practical. The sofa in the living room can easily be converted into two beds. The kitchen has everything you need to enjoy togetherness in the comfort of your own home. If you want to get a breath of fresh Ticino air, you can do so uninhibitedly in your own garden seating area. The marble floor keeps the room temperature pleasantly cool, especially in summer. In 2016, Morcote was voted the most beautiful village in Switzerland by readers of Schweizer Illustrierte, L'illustré and il caffè. The former fishing village is characterised by its unique location, mild climate, subtropical vegetation, arcades and narrow streets. The shops (open on Sundays) invite you to take a stroll, while the winding alleyways and fine restaurants make the heart of explorers beat faster. The church of Santa Maria del Sasso and the famous monument cemetery, from which you have a marvellous view over Lake Lugano, are well known and well worth a visit. Also worth a visit is the famous Parco Scherrer with architectural buildings from all over the world and typical southern vegetation.
