Chesa Peita

The 5-room vacation home Chesa Peita is a traditional Engadine house in the village in a quiet location with a garden seating area (summer). It is beautifully and comfortably furnished and does not correspond to a standard holiday apartment. The furnishings are mainly antique, the kitchen and bathrooms are modern.
The living room on the ground floor is furnished with a sofa, lounge table, chairs and fireplace stove.
The living room in the oldest part of the house on the upper floor has a very old dining table and a tiled stove with a stove bench and a sofa.
The kitchen is equipped with a glass ceramic and wood stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee machine (Delizio, Migros).
The bedroom on the ground floor, the bathroom with underfloor heating and the WC are state of the art.
Two bedrooms on the upper floor have been renovated and have a new shower/WC (these 2 bedrooms are located one behind the other / the rear room can be reached through the front room).
3 cribs, 3 highchairs and a toddler bed are available.
Heating: oil stove (continuous operation in winter), tiled stove in the parlor upstairs, as well as Swedish stove in the parlor downstairs and various electric radiators.
Washing machine, tumble dryer, Internet via WLAN, TV, radio. Special features: the house is partly heated with wood in winter.

Excursion possibilities: These mountains. These lakes. This light! On 580 kilometres of hiking trails across all mountains or with the mountain bike on 400 kilometres of pleasure trails: The Upper Engadine offers a top-class network of hiking trails and mountain bike trails amidst the pristine mountain world and the inspiring Upper Engadine lake district. The four flow trails on the Corviglia provide the right flow. The lakes of the Upper Engadine are also sporting enthusiasts. Kiting, sailing, windsurfing, stand-up paddling: the possibilities are almost unlimited. The expanse of the inspiring high valley can be experienced particularly impressively on the two 18-hole golf courses in Samedan and Zuoz. And in addition to the wide range of sporting opportunities, top-class cultural attractions such as a visit to the museum or the numerous art galleries in the various villages beckon.  
 
In summer, the Val Trupchun in the Swiss National Park is an Eldorado for wildlife watchers. Countless hiking trails for every level can be found in the Upper Engadine. In winter, 200 varied kilometres of cross-country ski trails offer variety. The family-friendly skiing area of Zuoz is located in the next village.
 
In winter, 350 kilometres of the finest pistes in the ski areas of Corviglia, Corvatsch, Diavolezza and the family-friendly Zuoz invite you to true skiing and snowboarding pleasure. Cross-country skiers will find over 220 km of groomed trails in the Upper Engadine and the side valleys. The winter hiking trails and cross-country skiing tracks on the frozen Upper Engadine lakes shine with light, sun and vastness in the midst of an inspiring mountain world. Those who want to enjoy the silence and beauty of the snow-covered forests hike the 150 km of winter hiking trails in the side valleys of Val Roseg, Val Fex or Val Bever, while those who prefer the overview enjoy breathtaking views on the panoramic hiking trails high above the lakes on Muottas Muragl.   
 
Families enjoy the Engadine sun on a carriage ride into Val Roseg or Val Fex, or sledge down into the valley on the 4.2km long, winding Muottas Muragl toboggan run.  The family-friendly ski resort of Zuoz is in the next village.
