Description of the holiday rental
It offers a light, stylish, tastefully decorated one-bedroom apartment, ‘Syrah´, for 2-3 people. All the pictures were painted by the owner. There is a large bedroom with views of the Matterhorn, a bathroom with shower, a living room / kitchen with a dining area and sofa, TV, ski cupboard and boot room with boot warmer. In winter, the piste is very close to the building. No smoking is allowed anywhere in the apartment. Haus Leopold is a chalet-style building renovated in 2011, in a very quiet location in the ‘Winkelmatten´ area. This is around 15 minutes´ walk from the centre of Zermatt, five minutes from the Matterhorn Express valley station and 100 m from the bus stop (Kapelle Winkelmatten). The train station and other cable car stations can be reached using the e-bus (red line). There is also a grocery store two minutes´ walk from the building.
