The surroundings are perfect for small and big walks in the unique natural and cultural landscape of the Lower Engadine. Popular is the short hike to Lai Nair and Avrona, reachable from Chasa Plavna in about one hour. In addition, the Swiss National Park is also nearby. The valley station of the mountain railroads can be reached by bus in only 5 minutes. All public transport is free of charge in summer as well as in winter. The valley cross-country skiing Martina-Scuol can be reached in 7 minutes by car. The ice rink and the soccer field Gurlaina are reachable in 10 minutes by foot. Shopping facilities are located in nearby Scuol, 5 minutes by car/post bus or 10 minutes by bike/walk. The imposing Tarasp Castle can be reached by car and post bus in about 6 minutes. The beautiful and historic outdoor swimming pool in Vulpera is only 150m away from the apartment. In addition, you will find the Hotel Villa Post right next door, where external guests are also welcome for lunch or dinner in the cozy restaurant Palatin.
